Introduction - An general explanation of what I will be focusing on.

1.Scale - how they created the different sizes of the races and building according to their respective scale.
A. explain the use of scale doubles and forced perspective (Elijah Wood is 5 ft 6 in, but his character is 3 ft 6 in)

- In depth look at compositing figures used in film
- In depth look at the environments used in the film and how they were properly composited.
2. Animation/ 3-D Models

- Look into many of the creatures from the films such as the Balrog and trolls and how they were created
- Placing/aligning the model/animation into live action film.
- Creating characters using mo cap
- How mo cap works
3. Programs - a look into the programs used in the films
A. MASSIVE
- what it does (in this case it helped create the massive battle scenes)
- How it was implemented into the films.
- A general look into the many programs used to help create effects for the film.
